Danielle graduated from La Trobe University in 2000 and began her career working in a rural hospital. Since then she returned to Melbourne and has worked in two of Melbourne's large teaching hospitals. Over the last 12 years she has worked as an Advanced Practice Physiotherapist in both the Emergency Department and Orthopaedic Surgery Department.

With her main area of interest being Musculoskeletal conditions she completed her Masters of Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy in 2008. Danielle continues to enjoy working in a diverse range of clinical settings and she is also fluent in Italian.

Helen has been serving seniors for more than 20 years as a physiotherapist. She has provided physiotherapy to senior patients with pulmonary, medical, neurological, orthopaedic, palliative, fall risks and chronic pain conditions in a rehabilitation hospital in HK for more than 10 years. She migrated to Australia in 2010. Since then, she continued her service to seniors, in different aged care facilities in Melbourne.

She had her physiotherapy training in Hong Kong and graduated in 1993. She got her master degree in exercise and nutrition science in UK in 2007. Her research “The validity and reliability of a 6-metre timed walk for the functional assessment of patients with stroke” was published in Physiotherapy Theory and Practice in 2010.

Nirav Sanjanwala

Nirav Sanjanwala

Nirav has a Bachelor of Physiotherapy Degree and a Post Graduate Diploma of Physiotherapy in Muscular-skeletal from University of Melbourne.

He has more than 18 years experience in both public system and private practice. Nirav has successfully provided treatment to different types of sports and spinal conditions and has extensive experience in muscular skeletal, cardiorespiratory and neurological conditions.

Nirav has also worked as a Post Acute Care Physiotherapist and Community Health Physiotherapist and has been involved in the rehabilitation of clients with chronic and complex conditions. He has a genuine interest in the treatment and management of neck and low back injuries of the spine and in rehabilitation of joint replacements and surgeries. Nirav has experience in coordinating gentle exercise, strength training and hydrotherapy classes and gives utmost importance to clients and works with their individual goals.

Sue McCall

Graduated in 1990 and has extensive clinical experience in South Africa, the UK and Australia. Experience gained through hospital rotations in paediatrics, emergency, orthopaedics, medical and surgical wards, as well as Intensive Care.

Renae graduated as a physiotherapist in 1997.

She has had extensive experience as an inpatient and outpatient physiotherapist, working in a broad range of areas, including orthopaedics, cardiothoracic, womens health, community and staff exercise programs and classes, community rehabilitation, private practice, and sports physiotherapy.

She is married with 3 children and runs her own tennis coaching business, and also has qualifications in the areas of Strength and Conditioning, and Exercise to Music. She is very much enjoying utilising the skills from 17 years of experience in her role with Physioforlife! Email:

Nanna Hedberg

Nanna graduated from LaTrobe university in 2000 and began her career working both as a domiciliary Physio as well as a for a corporate health and well-being company.

Since then she has worked at 2 of Melbourne's large public hospitals. Her passion is cardio-thoracic physiotherapy, and has also worked extensively in the acute general medicine and Aged Care sectors.

Over the last 2 years she has come full circle and has been working with clients in the Post Acute Care and Aged Care sector and Nanna says "I am loving every minute of it!"

Jane has been working primarily with muskulo-skeletal presentations since 1998. As well as an Advanced Diploma of Myotherapy, she holds a Bachelor of Health Science in Naturopathy (SSNT - 2001) and a Masters Degree in Acupuncture (RMIT - 2013). Having worked in various clinical settings, Musculoskeletal therapy became her main focus from the earliest stages of her involvement in complementary medicine. With her training across different holistic models, she is able to bring different problem solving skills to her clinical reasoning.
